Blackest Day Caused By Greenies
At a country resort, the conversation around the pool was about the heat of the day. High temperatures had been reached in the previous days. In Victoria, Australia, it is to be expected to get every summer a week of temperatures around 100F (37.8C )with a few days over this. In the last three days the temperature had risen over 110F (43.3C). That day it was 113F (45C). But hotter was to come.
One my way home from the resort, we drove through areas that were so dry that the trees looked like they would burst into flames from spontaneous combustion. Many of the trees in the forests we passed through had brown leaves instead of green and looked like they were dying. Even in the paddocks of the farm land, the landscape was yellow-brown and close to looking like scorched earth.
Anna wanted to go into the forest and film. I refused and drove through the forested areas without stopping. You might think that I was being paranoid, but when you understand that all you need is a fire bug or discarded glass beer bottles to get hot enough to cause some extremely dry grass to burst into flame at a number of locations, you will realize that my fears are well founded. Fires occur frequently every year in Australia during the summer months. And here there were communities of people living among the trees and thick dry undergrowth of bush and grass.
Eight days later, my worst fears were realized. The hottest day on record saw fires begin to rage. Initially, the fires would have been started by glass bottles that had been discarded on the roadside. Then the firebugs joined in and start lighting a few more fires. Sometimes the firebug is found to be one of the fireman who fight the fires. This time around there appear to be a number of suspicious people whom police are seeking to interview. One person on a motorbike was seen in numerous places where a fire started that ringed the township of Marysville and raised homes and buildings to the ground and killed many people. This fire was an isolated outbreak many miles from any of the other devastating fires.
Surprisingly, many lives, animals buildings and much property could have been saved had the governments not become so obsessed with climate change and heeded the warnings about prescribed burning and reducing the fuel for the fires. Instead, the Greenies, most of who live in the treeless urban areas of the inner city, have the government under siege, having lobbied for laws to prevent controlled burns and clearance of undergrowth. Now the government is going to set up a commission to have an inquiry into the fires to find out what caused them to cause so much destruction. Every time there is a disastrous bush fire, a commission is set up and the findings are always the same: too much build up of fuel and inadequate resources are made available for controlled burning of forests and clearance of undergrowth.
The Greenies influence has been such that not only are the State governments around Australia not taking responsibility to provide a safe environment for people, but local governments are fining people who clear trees and undergrowth and rubbish around their own houses. One ratepayer was ordered to pay $100,000 in fines for clearing his own fire break around his home. Ironically, all the homes around his property were destroyed, while his remains as it was before the fire. In the areas, where the fires did the most damage the local governments last year warned ratepayers that a number of people had been fined for clearing trees around their homes and one person had been fined for picking up dead wood from the roadside. In fact one of the mayors wrote that "the large tree canopies are major contributors to the landscape and provide a familiar habitat for our precious wildlife and should not be destroyed."
Tell that to the wildlife now that have been burned to death. Tell that to the trees that look like burnt ash. Tell that to the many people who have been left homeless. Tell that to the many people who have lost love ones incinerated in the Hell on Earth that took place on that blackest day in February of 2009 as raging flames soared into the sky, just because Greenies have an ignorant religious agenda to worship their fantasies about the wild.
How often is evil brought about in the name of good by people who have their own deceived quasi-religious agenda?
How often are people's rights suppressed to protect their own lives and property by governments who are influenced by obsessesed environmentalists and animal lovers who have no regard for their fellow man only wild beasts and untamed country in the name of their passion?
If people do not take responsibility for their beliefs, actions and influence over others, they will be held accountable. Meanwhile it is up to each one of us to stand up for what is right, otherwise we are guilty of disregarding our own God-given right to stand up for the truth.
