Builder is correct regarding fat loss.
Why is it that some people can eat anything and not gain weight but others eat the same exact thing and it turns into fat?

BODY METABOLISM.
Everyone is a unique person and their metabolism may be so efficient that they seem to not be able to make changes.
BUT this is why DIETS do not work and the same exact fitness training program does not work for everyone.

Proper nutrition and a fitness program custom designed exactly for you is the trick.

The real SECRET to health and fitness is the foods you eat, when you eat them and the portions that you consume.

If you are trying to lose weight and you skip meals your body becomes very efficient in using the food you consume. If you do this you will NOT lose body fat. In fact you may even gain weight.

A good example of proper eating is as follows:

If you would take a very large wooden log and try to set it on fire without kindling and proper fire building techniques I doubt if it would even burn. You need to start with very small pieces and then add more and more to get the fire started to completly burn the log.

When you skip meals and then over load with large meals when you do eat your body will only use the food you consumed for your immediate needs. The unused portions will go into storage (fat). When you eat like this your body will assume you are in starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down.

But if you eat the same exact foods spread out over 5 to 6 smaller meals a day, this will speed up your metabolism. Just like the burning log example above. Consume your food in smaller portions over the day and your body will burn it more efficiently.

To make your body even more efficient you need to change from the lower quality foods you are eating now to foods that are highly nutrious. Eliminate the high calorie foods that are low on quality and filled with sugars, salts and chemicals. 

 
This example is not exact but
the calorie content and the food quality works for nearly every food you would use.
 
Example:
Take a handful of potato chips, place them into your hand and look on the bag of chips. What does it say for a serving size? 6 to 10 chips = 160 calories
 
Now take a whole potato that will fit in the palm of your hand how many calories it that?
1 potato is about 80 to 100 calories
 
If you eat the 6 to 10 potato chips are you still going to be hungry? YOU BET, I WANT MORE!
 
But if you eat the entire potato I am sure at the very least your appetite is curbed or you feel full.
 
You can try this with any kind of JUNK FOOD compared to the same handful of quality fresh food. The difference is very obvious. There is simply nothing better for your body than quality food.


Our bodies are efficient machines but if you fill it up with JUNK it is not much different than putting poor quality fuels, oils and lubricants into your automobile. You would not think about letting your radiator run dry or let the oil become low.

BUT MOST OF US DO THIS TO OUR BODIES EVERYDAY!!!!

This is why we get sick. Our body just can not take the abuse any longer. You begin to put on weight, you do not feel good, can not sleep, maybe you are tired all the time, aches and pains, etc..

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

In reality the only correct method is to treat yourself like a high class sports car.

Only put the fuels-lubricants-fluids designed specifically for your sport car.

HIGH QUALITY FOOD ONLY. NO MORE JUNK. ONLY EAT FRESH GREEN & BRIGHTLY COLORED VEGETABLES, FRUITS, GRAINS, BEANS, NUTS, FISH AND MEAT.
NOTHING PROCESSED, CANNED, BAGGED, COLORED OR MIXED WITH CHEMICALS
 
Take your sports car out for regular drives on the highway and put it thru it paces. It would be a shame to let your beautiful car just sit in the garage.

GET OFF YOUR BUTT!
 
Walk, Run, Jog, get fresh air, sunshine, become more active. You have the TIME! If you have time to turn on the computer to read this article you have the time!
 
 
I know this advice sounds simple and it really is. But we are human and so easily lead off course by the tastes, gimmicks and fads.

The advertising agencies are paid millions of dollars to convince you to buy their products and it works!  Just look at the people around you, they are obviously not eating properly.

 
IGNORE THE HYPE, KEEP YOUR DIET SIMPLE, DO SOMETHING ACTIVE EVERYDAY. NO MORE JUNK!
 
REMEMBER TO TREAT YOUR BODY LIKE A HIGH CLASS SPORT CAR. BECAUSE YOU ARE WORTH IT!

 

IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE TIME FOR PROPER NUTRITION AND EXERCISE NOW, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE TIME FOR ILLNESS AND DISEASE IN THE FUTURE.
